Crystal,
FYI, if you forget to order the Hidden Mickey's book before you head to Orlando, you will find it for sale at most Disney resort gift shops, or as part of many of the
Disney Florist gift packages!
As for a quicker lunch, I have two strategies.
Strategy 1: Because you are having a big breakfast and big dinner, try a late lunch "around the world" by sampling some stand options in the World Showcase. Grab a brat from Sommerfest in Germany, a crepe from France, or a lefse from Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in Norway. Maybe split a shawarma from Tangierine Cafe in Morocco (my personal favorite!), or share some fish and chips from the United Kingdom? It's a fun way to have a quick lunch, try a few different things, and keep from eating a big meal. Also, if you get a finicky kid in the bunch, grab a burger in the US pavilion and you are on your way.
Strategy 2: The often overlooked Sunshine Season Food Fair in the Land pavilion has indoor seating and a great variety of quick service foods, all well prepared.
Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
