Hi Camilla,
First of all, congratulations on your upcoming nuptials! I'm sure this is a very exciting time for you as your wedding approaches. I, too, honeymooned in Walt Disney World and it was the perfect place to begin our "happily ever after"!
Just last week, my husband and I had an evening away from our kids at Epcot and we enjoyed a nice stroll through World Showcase and got a tasty beverage in France. I got a Grand Marnier Orange Slush and my husband got a glass of wine at the kiosk across from Le Chefs de France and then we made our way to the bridge in between France and United Kingdom pavilions to watch Illuminations from there. It was an amazing view of the show with no trees blocking and there was a nice breeze over the water.
My favorite spot to watch Wishes is in the hub in front of Cinderella's Castle. While this can be pretty crowded area and full of families, it might not come across as "romantic". If you would like a more secluded spot with less people, I would suggest watching Wishes from the back of the castle or near Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid in New Fantasyland. While you won't get the overall view and you may not hear all the background music, but, you will still get a wonderful show of most of the fireworks.
There are so many
great tours available at Walt Disney World. Some have an age minimum, so I would take a look at the link I have provided and consider one of those such as Keys to the Kingdom or Backstage Magic where the age minimum is 16 years old.
I hope your fairy tale honeymoon is all you hope for and more!
