Hiya We are thinking of booking the Disney Members Cruise in 2026. We have points left in current use year (2025) but wanted to know if we can use them for the cruise next year, as well as using the 2026 points and borrow from 2027 points too? Thank you

    Ahoy!

Welcome home! And welcome to planDisney!

Thank you for visiting with your question today, Claire. It's great to have the opportunity to help fellow Disney Vacation Club Members make the most of their membership. It's extra fun to chat with fellow Members from the UK! Now let's talk about one of my favourite subjects, Disney Cruise Line!

It is pretty exciting that the Disney Dream is making her way back over to the UK for the 2026 summer season, and even more exciting that the Member Cruise will be departing from Southampton, we are going to miss this as we have just booked to set sail on the Disney Adventure at the end of August, which I am so excited about!

Members eligible for membership extras can start booking the sailing from 10 am Eastern time on 22nd March, to do this call Member Services, please bear in mind that the clocks have changed in the USA, so until 30th March there is only a 4-hour time difference. You can book using either cash or Reservation Points, If you would like to pay using both cash and Reservation Points you can, but, individual passengers must be paid for by using all cash or all Reservation Points, you can find the Points Chart here.

Good news, Claire, I checked with a Cast Member who confirmed depending on your use year you will be able to bank 2025 points into 2026 and borrow from 2027 and the rule of four does not apply to booking a Member Cruise, which offers some extra flexibility with how you use your points.

I hope this answers your question, Claire. If you haven't already, I would check out the Disney Dream Deck Plan, so you can get an idea of the room category you would like to book, so you are all ready when the time comes to book your voyage with Member Services.

If you have any further questions about your membership or vacation planning, please reach out to me. I'd love to help!

    Have a magical day,
    Matt
