Hiya! I am visiting Disneyland Paris for the first time. However, I am a little bit confused on purchasing/using Disney Premier Access Ultimate & One. What is the difference/and works? Another question Will I be able to get a birthday/celebrate button?

Hi Emily and bienvenue to planDisney!

I'm so excited to hear that you're planning a trip to Disneyland Paris! As I am based in the UK, my family are frequent visitors and my goodness, if this will be your first visit, you are in for a real treat!

First things first, let's talk about Disney Premier Access.

Disney Premier Access One allows guests to skip the regular queue and access the fast lane for a single attraction, once, at a specific time slot. Disney Premier Access One can only be purchased on the day of your visit (subject to availability) and costs do vary from attraction to attraction.

Top Tip - You can see the current cost per attraction by following these steps in the Disneyland Paris App:-

1/ Open the App and click on "Buy" at the bottom of the home screen.
2/ Click on "Disney Premier Access."
3/ Click on "Select" in the Disney Premier Access One section.
4/ You can then see the price per available attraction at both of the Disney Parks.

Disney Premier Access Ultimate allows guests to skip the regular queue and access the fast lane, once, at any time they like (without an allocated time slot), for each eligible attraction, during the day of their visit. Disney Premier Access Ultimate can be purchased in advance, or, on the day of your visit (subject to availability) and the cost does vary from 90 - 160 euros (at the time of writing), depending on the time of year.

Once you have purchased a Disney Premier Access One or, Disney Premier Access Ultimate, you simply scan a QR code, accessed in the Disneyland Paris App, at the entrance to each eligible attraction. My family have used Disney Premier Access during previous visits and I can assure you that both versions are super easy to use.

Whilst these do come at an additional cost, I would say that if you will be visiting at a busy time of year and/or will only have limited time to enjoy all of the attractions on offer at Disneyland Paris, it is well worth it.

As this will be your very first visit to Disneyland Paris, I've listed below my top picks from each of the Disney Parks:-

    Disneyland Park
    La Tanière du Dragon
    Big Thunder Mountain
    Phantom Manor
    Pirates of the Caribbean
    Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain
    Disney Tales of Magic

    Walt Disney Studios Park
    Mickey and the Magician
    Crush's Coaster
    Avengers Assemble: Flight Force
    Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure

All of these attractions/entertainment is either exclusive to Disneyland Paris or, are different versions of attractions which you can find at other Disney Parks, worldwide.

Moving on to your second question, if you will be celebrating your birthday during your visit, you can absolutely stop by City Hall at Disneyland Park or, Studio Services at Walt Disney Studios Park to collect a birthday badge to wear throughout your stay. (I would recommend having a copy of your ID with you, just incase you are asked to show this.)

I hope that this has answered your questions, Emily. If we can be of any further help with the planning of your trip, please feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, where we will be only too happy to help.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
