HIya moms, were staying in WL in may and r lucky enough to hav reservations for mickeys bbq, Iv heard fort willderness is pretty big, my ? is will be easier to bus, taxi or boat there, as not sure exactly where bbq is in Fort Willderness,

Hi Amanda!  You will have a great time at Mickey's Backyard Barbecue.  It is a great place to dance with the characters and have an evening of fun with a western feel!

To reach Fort Wilderness from the Wilderness Lodge is about as easy as anything else.  Just head down to the boat launch at your resort and you will see signs indicating the correct line for the boats to Fort Wilderness.  They come on the same 15-20 minute schedule as the busses to all the parks run on.  Once you are at the "Fort" you will walk towards the main building called Pioneer Hall. This is a simple five minute walk and you will see it on your right side. The general store or Outpost will be on your left.  There will be signs showing you the path to take off to the right towards Mickey's Barbecue and cast members there to guide you as well. It is all just a short walk from the boat and to reach your resort at the end of the evening you just reverse the steps you took to get there! Easy and fun! Enjoy!
