Hey Howdy Hey Zoe and welcome to planDisney!
I love that you are getting ahead of planning your trip next year! It never is too early to start planning your holiday at Walt Disney World Resort. There is always so much going on that it never is a bad time to visit. Of course, depending on the time of year, you will have special things you may want to plan for and it helps a ton to have a schedule when planning for your trip. Thank you for your question on when schedules get released, let's see if we can come up with a general time frame.
Typically, Disney will try to stay a good 2-3 months ahead when it comes to the details of planning. You will be heading to Disney World around the time that
Mickey's Not-So-Scarry Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom starts, so you may find out the specific days and times a little earlier so you can plan accordingly. I would make sure to keep an eye on the
Park Hours which will give you all of the details of park hours, times for parades and nighttime shows. I would also make sure to keep up with these as your travel dates get closer as well as at times, Disney has been known to adjust these based on expectations with crowd levels, so there is some fine-tuning that may happen to these times from when they are released to your actual dates of travel.
As you continue to plan for your trip next year, I would also recommend keeping up with
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news about events taking place in Walt Disney World. You will be able to hear any new announcements for things such as Mickey's Not-So-Scarry Halloween Party dates as well as things such as
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival which also is usually happening at that time. You can also find the
Foodie Guides as well which can navigate you through the special food offerings that may be available during your stay to get the most out of your planning!
Best of luck as you continue your planning journey for your holiday next year. If you have any further questions please feel free to reach out and let us know, we would be happy to help!
Happy Planning,
Nick
