Hiya planDisney! My fiancé and I recently secured our wedding with DFTW! We are thinking about venturing on an Alaskan Cruise for the Honeymoon. When should 2023 Alaskan cruise itineraries be released and are they around the same time each year?

Ahoy there Candance and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you thought to reach out to us as you prepare to celebrate the next big adventure in life, your upcoming marriage! A hearty congratulations to you and your fiancé!

A Disney Fairy Tale Wedding will be nothing short of incredible. I'm giddy over the thought of it and I absolutely LOVE that you are considering a Disney Cruise for your honeymoon. There is so much fun to be had for adults onboard the ship and if I could honeymoon again, that's what I would choose! And an Alaskan itinerary will bring with it chances for relaxation and adventure. It all sounds picture perfect to me.

We typically see Disney Cruise itineraries for Alaska announced in the spring of the year prior. So that means we will likely hear the news for any sailings to Alaska in 2023 within the next few weeks. I'd keep an eye out on the Disney Cruise Line website or Disney Parks Blog for this announcement. I'm a big fan of booking a cruise the day that reservations open to take advantage of the best selection of available staterooms and to book at opening day prices, which tend to provide the best value. The sailing season for cruises to Alaska is typically mid-May to mid-September. I hope that works out for your proposed honeymoon timeline!

When you book, be sure to indicate that you'll be celebrating your honeymoon on your upcoming cruise. The Crew Members love to share in the excitement! If you'd like to add a little bit of extra magic to your cruise vacation, I highly recommend booking a dining reservation at the adult-exclusive restaurant, Palo. They offer dinner and brunch reservations and the service is absolutely incredible. It's so difficult to choose between dinner and brunch because the menu for each is absolutely mouth-watering. I love to book both! And one final thought ... you may enjoy browsing the Onboard Gifts page on the Disney Cruise Line website. I recently celebrated an anniversary onboard and selected the Luxury at Sea for Two Romance Package and loved it. On the day of our sailing, a specialty beverage, chocolates, a rose, and two Disney Cruise Line branded robes were delivered to our stateroom. The plush robes have become a favorite souvenir linked to many wonderful memories.

I'm wishing you all the best as you plan your wedding and your honeymoon! Please visit us again Candace, if we can help in any way. Sharing a bit of the Disney magic with our fellow guests is why we love to be planDisney panelists, so please don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!

Bon Voyage to a lifetime of adventure!
