Hiya pals! Rumor has it MagicBand+ vibrates when it's time for your next Genie+ selection. True? Or myth busted? I enjoyed the fun haptics of my new band last month but didn't purchase Genie+ to know. I don't see it listed as a feature. Thanks!

Glad to meet ya, Amy! As my friend, Tigger, would say, thanks for bouncing back over to planDisney! Hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

I'm excited to hear that you've already been able to try out the new MagicBand+. This next-generation wearable has some fun new features, including color-changing lights, haptic vibrations, and gesture recognition. I bet you've already tested how it complements the magic in the skies, lighting up in sync with Disney Enchantment at Disney's Magic Kingdom and Harmonious at EPCOT!

I did not recall my own MagicBand+ vibrating when it was time for me to make my next Genie+ Lightning Lane selection. However, your question certainly made me think, think, think! I contacted the Internet Help Desk at (407) 939-4357, and the Cast Member did confirm that while it is not currently a feature, it is a good idea. Hopefully, Disney will incorporate this functionality into the next upgrade! Until then, I like to set the alarm on my phone to remind me when to book my next Genie+ experience. Also, with the latest update on the My Disney Experience app, a new "When You Can Book" banner now appears at the top of your Tip Board, letting you know when you can book another Lightning Lane selection.

The "Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters" experience is one of the coolest interactive features of MagicBand+, where guests can pretend to be bounty hunters in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Just make sure you have the Play Disney Parks app downloaded to your "datapad." The app shows a map leading you to the Bounty Board in Black Spire Station. As a frequent visitor, you may have already seen some of the markings when visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios. When searching for your virtual bounty, your MagicBand+ will be your guide since it lights up and vibrates to indicate if you are getting closer or further away from the goal. I guarantee this will be a hit with padawans and Jedi Masters alike!

Here's a planDisney tip: pack a portable battery charger in your park bag, just in case the power in your MagicBand+ runs down. I like to use a FuelRod. Not only is it compact, but I can trade it in after the charge is depleted. Check the Walt Disney World website for kiosk locations on property.

Amy, TTFN! Ta-ta for now! We hope you come back and see us real soon.
