    Hiya. I ordered a Magicband 2 for my upcoming trip 10/29/22. Extremely excited. I was looking at my order for the MB2 I ordered and it says “backorder”. Typically how long does it take for an item to not be backordered? And be shipped.

    I'm thrilled to hear that you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort this October! You'll be in for a frightfully good time, from the seasonal snacks to the fun festivities. Don't forget to pack your spooky best if you plan on purchasing tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! But first, let's make sure your MagicBands are all set before your vacation can truly begin.

    I understand your excitement! There are so many reasons to love MagicBands – you can tap to enter theme parks, charge your purchases back to your Disney Resort hotel folio, enter Lightning Lane entrances and virtual queues, and more. It's like a magic wand that you wear! But oh, bother, I'm sorry to hear that your MagicBand is currently backordered. There are a variety of reasons why it may be backordered, from supply chain issues to shipping delays. I checked with Madame Leota and, unfortunately, her crystal ball couldn't tell me when your MagicBand may be ready to ship. But fear not! I have another idea for you!

    Darren, I would suggest calling a Cast Member at (407) 939-4357 and letting them know about the situation with your MagicBand. They may be able to take a peek at your purchase and provide some next steps for you! However, if you're looking for an alternate plan (just in case!), look no further than the Disney MagicMobile service. You can access this complimentary service through your My Disney Experience app, which offers features that are similar to MagicBands! In fact, you may want to take a little time to explore this app before you arrive to see what it has to offer. My favorite reason to use the My Disney Experience app is to place a mobile order for my meals and snacks. I love knowing they'll be ready and waiting for me, right when I want them!
