Hiya Kimberly, it's great to see you back here at
planDisney!
It's so exciting that your daughter gets to participate in the Cheerleading Nationals at
Walt Disney World Resort's ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. It is such an amazing venue for athletes of all ages from around the world!
I've done quite a few split-stays on trips to
Walt Disney World Resort, and I think it's great that you've booked one! Some of mine have been out of necessity, but I often book them on purpose so I can experience the different themes, dining, amenities, and transportation options from multiple
Disney Resort Collection hotels, all within a single trip!
Depending on the time of day you first arrive at
Walt Disney World Resort, you may be able to go directly to your first Disney Resort hotel room by using advanced
Online Check-In and Direct-to-Room Service in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. If you're a little early and your room isn't quite ready, don't fret! You can check your bags with Bell Services and they'll be waiting for you to pick up as soon as your room is ready.
On the day you move to your next Disney Resort hotel, simply take your bags to Bell Services and request a hotel transfer. They'll ask for some information, and then your bags will be off on their magic carpet ride to your second Disney Resort hotel at no charge. Keep in mind that Bell Services can't transfer any perishable items, so plan ahead and eat those leftovers from last night's dinner in the fridge! Also, luggage transfers can take a few hours, so you'll want to make sure and keep any items with you that you might need for the day. When you arrive at your second Disney Resort hotel, your luggage will magically be waiting for you at the new-to-you Bell Services desk!
Best of luck to your daughter and her team at the competition. I hope you have a magical trip!
