Hi Harriet,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Dining is my favorite Walt Disney World activity, whether I'm snacking around the World Showcase at
Epcot, relaxing with a casual lunch at
Disney Springs or savoring a special occasion dinner with my husband at one of the
signature dining experiences in a resort.
You've done the most important thing. You made dining reservations well in advance of your vacation. You will not need a confirmation email to check in at the restaurants you chose. As long as you know the time, date and location of your reservation, you will be just fine. All you need to do is give the host or hostess the name used to make the reservation. I recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before your reservation time.
I usually use the
My Disney Experience mobile app to make all of my advanced dining reservations. That way, I always have my itinerary information in the palm of my hand. While you are at Walt Disney World, you also can use My Disney Experience for
Mobile Ordering. In the app, you can place your order at a
participating location, pay and let the kitchen know when you arrive so they can prepare your meal. All without standing in line.
Thanks for your question, Harriet. Please let us know if we can help in any other way as your vacation nears. Enjoy!
Wilma
