Hello Emma,
As the current
UK Panelist here at planDisney, it's both my pleasure and delight to welcome you to our pixie-dusted spot!
Oh boy, Emma! I can see you've indicated that your jolly holiday to Walt Disney World Resort is right around the river bend in the new year. And of course, I just imagine how super excited you must be feeling right about now!
As I'm sure you'll already be aware Emma, Guests who wish to enjoy an adult beverage at Walt Disney World Resort must be aged 21 years or older and should be able to present (if requested) a Government-issued photo ID as proof of age.
Additionally, current
Walt Disney World Resort rules and regulations state that international Guests are required to present a valid passport, alongside another form of Government-issued photo ID such as our UK photocard driving license, or perhaps a military-issued ID.
Emma, I'm more than happy to share with you that when I'm enjoying my own holidays at
Walt Disney World Resort, I always carry my UK driving license as a form of ID, plus I take a photo of my passport to store in photos on my mobile phone as a secondary form of ID.
By taking a clear passport photo on my mobile phone, I then don't have the additional worry of carrying my valuable passport around with me. For additional peace of mind, it might be helpful for you to know that I always choose to stow my passport and travel documents securely away in the provided in-room safe in my
Disney Resorts Collection hotel.
Emma, I hope that I've been able to provide a little useful insight for you today. And now, all that remains is for me to wish you an extra zip-a-dee-doo-dah upcoming holiday to the most magical place on earth!
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
