Hi again, Julie! Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question! I'm so glad that you are continuing to plan your visit for this holiday season.
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort bring all sorts of good cheer to the parks! There are usually seasonal renditions of World of Color and the nighttime fireworks spectacular, plus the Christmas Fantasy Parade is a Guest favorite. I'm not sure if there will be any dining packages or reserved viewing options for holiday entertainment. So, I suggest following the
Disney Parks Blog as they will be the first to release the official dates for the Holidays and if there are any special offerings this year.
Disney Festival of Holidays is slated to return to Disney California Adventure Park. You will get the chance to enjoy a variety of festivities inspired by different cultures and indulge in tasty tidbits through out park at the
Festive Food Marketplace Kiosks. If traditional holiday treats are what you're asking Santa for this year, you might want to try a hand-pulled, Disneyland-authentic candy cane! A limited quantity of these sweets are made daily and are only sold at Candy Palace in Disneyland Park and Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure Park. In past seasons, you would need to wait in line to be issued a wrist band with a return time to pick up your candy cane - yes, they are that popular! Again, look for more information this fall on the Disney Parks Blog.
Hope this helps get you and your plans in the holiday spirit!
