Hi.will be there 5/15-20.5/19 res for CP @ 8:20am, and res for 7:30am for Kona. Can't decide which i should cancel..really want to do both, but no room in schedule! Party is 2 adults who have been to disney 5+ times, never eaten at either restaurant Thx!

    Hi Dawn Marie,

Decisions, decisions!  Both restaurants are great, and choosing between them seems so unfair.  If I were you I would make my choice based on where I was staying.  In other words, if you're staying at the Polynesian or at another monorail resort, go to Kona Cafe.  The food is great, and people rave about Tonga Toast.  Also, as a party of two, you may be looking for a more relaxed setting - this would be a great choice.

If you're staying at another resort, go to Crystal Palace.  You'll be able to sleep a little later, not have to make as many transportation connections, and you'll have a great breakfast.  Crystal Palace is one of my favorite character dining experiences, and the breakfast buffet is both extensive and delicious.  The character interaction is also a lot of fun.

Hope this helps.  I know you'll have a great meal, whichever restaurant you choose!

    Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
