hi…when purchasing the multi lightning pass is it only for 3 rides of your choice? what if you purchase the multi lightning pass and have chosen the park and day but it’s changed, can you change the day for purchased lightning pass?

Hey Howdy Hey Renee and welcome to planDisney!

Lightning Lane Multi Pass can be a huge time saver in the parks. Not only can you pre-select three Lightning Lanes on your purchase, but you will then get a rolling one throughout your day to use as long as access is available. Let's go over more of the details on how this works and where you can use it.

It sounds like you have it right so far Renee. When you purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you will have to select the day and the park to purchase. Once you do, you will be able to select which rides at which time you want to book. After that, you are all set for your day in the parks.

When you purchase your Multi Pass, this is good for the park you start in and any park you may want to hop to.  If you have the Park Hopper Option on your theme park tickets, after you tap in to redeem your first Lightning Lane selection, you will have the opportunity to make a new selection for any park you choose as long as there is availability in the park to hop to and with any of the attractions. This process will work the same for the rest of the day. Once you redeem one, you will get another.

If you do end up changing the day you visit the park or which park to visit, this would require a call to speak with a Cast Member about your situation. Lightning Lane purchases are non-refundable but a Cast Member may be able to help you apply the cost of what you paid towards the purchase of Lightning Lane Multi Pass to another park as all parks will have variable pricing. Just know this option may depend on availability.

I hope this information helps to clear up the details of your Lightning Lane usage and options before and during your park visit. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help!
