Ahoy, Tamika, and welcome to planDisney! The countdown is on for your Bahamian cruise aboard the Disney Fantasy. Can you already picture the beautiful ocean horizon? There is a lot of fun ahead – let's talk about it!
Tamika, your cruise has
Pirate Night scheduled for Day 2. The ship will dock in Nassau for the day. Starting in the afternoon, you'll start to notice other Guests in pirate costumes, and an adventurous atmosphere will be felt throughout the ship. Pirate Night is a cruise highlight for people of all ages. There's usually a special dinner menu, themed activities, a deck party, and fireworks (weather permitting). Dressing up is optional, and each group does it a little differently. You can wear a full costume, stay in your casual attire, or do something in between.
Keep in mind that schedules are subject to change. Once you board the ship and connect to Wi-Fi, the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will update with the latest information for your specific sailing. You'll be able to confirm the timing for Pirate Night, see when you'll have dinner at each of the Main Dining restaurants, learn where and when to participate in various onboard activities, and more.
The Broadway-style shows are one of my favorite parts of a Disney cruise. And on the
Disney Fantasy, you can expect a wonderful lineup. "Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular" is one of my favorites. "Disney’s Believe" and "Frozen, A Musical Spectacular" are great, too. Get there a little early to buy some popcorn to enjoy as you watch.
Of course, you can also look forward to visiting
Castaway Cay. Have you looked into the
port adventures at this amazing private island? I really loved snorkeling in the lagoon – it was beginner-friendly, and there were lots of surprises to discover in the water.
