Hi Hector!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you stopped by with your question while planning for your upcoming cruise!
I highly recommend taking advantage of dining in the one of the
adult-exclusive restaurants onboard during your sailing. The food is phenomenal, fantastic service and breathtaking views! My husband and I always enjoy having a night to ourselves to enjoy without the disruption of two small boys or a busy dining room! We always look forward to our date night onboard! While you are enjoying your dinner, your teenagers will be able to enjoy themselves in one of the
Youth Clubs onboard. Edge is open to those cruisers aged 11-14 years old and Vibe is open for cruisers 14-17 years old! The evenings are really fun and exciting in those areas with games, challenges, social events and other activities! There are also movies and evening entertainment available for them to enjoy onboard!
You can keep up with one another onboard by using the chat feature on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, if they have a smartphone. You will connect to the DCL-GUEST Wifi network to utilize it, not needing any other data package. If they do not have a smartphone for use, then each stateroom has two Wavephones for Guest use that you can call or message between. These chat options will definitely come in handy to keep tabs on everyone throughout the ship!
So, go ahead and reserve that date night…the kids will be entertained and will probably love a night on their own too!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
