Bonjour!
Welcome to planDisney, Sarah! First of all, welcome home from your first trip to
Disneyland Paris! I always love hearing when a first visit turns into planning the next one already. I have been visiting Disneyland Paris regularly for over 25 years, and the magic definitely only gets stronger with each visit!
Disneyland Pass is a brilliant way to experience the magic of Disneyland Paris time and time again for a whole year. I have loved the years I have spent as an annual passholder, and I always find it helps me take each trip a little slower, knowing it won't be long until I return!
When it comes to your first question, only a
one day dated ticket can be upgraded to a Disneyland Pass. Unfortunately, tickets that were part of a Hotel + Ticket Package are not eligible to be upgraded.
To purchase a Disneyland Pass, you can either visit the Disneyland Pass ticket office at the entrance to Disneyland Park or call Disneyland Paris on 03448 008 898. If you buy your pass at the ticket office, it will be active from the day of purchase. If you purchase by phone, a voucher will be sent to you by post. This voucher then needs to be exchanged on your first visit at the ticket office for your physical Disneyland Pass. The voucher must be exchanged within two months of purchase, and your final pass will be valid from the date you exchange it.
You also have the option to purchase a Disneyland Pass and spread the cost over 11 monthly instalments following an initial deposit at the time of purchase. This payment option is available on the
French Disneyland Paris website or in person at the Disneyland Pass ticket office. It is important to know that the bank account used must be based in the Single Euro Payments Area and able to accept euro direct debits through SEPA. The UK is part of SEPA, but I would always recommend checking with your bank first.
One final tip, if purchasing Bronze or Bronze Max, when you first buy your pass, you will not be able to
make reservations for consecutive days straight away. Once you have scanned into a Disney Park using your Disneyland Pass for the first time, you will then be able to book consecutive days for future visits. You can also hold up to three active reservations at once.
I hope this helps answer your question today, Sarah, and I hope you have a great year as a Disneyland Passholder! If you have any other vacation planning questions, please
reach out to me. I’d love to help!
See ya real soon!
Matt
