Hi, Were travelling from the UK in September 2023 and really wanted to do a 1 day Park Hopper ticket as we are limited on time. Because we live in the UK though I can only find tickets for 7 or 14 days. Can I not buy a 1 day ticket anymore?

    Welcome to planDisney, Emily!

How wonderful that you're planning a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. September is a truly tigger-ific time to come to the Walt Disney World Resort. The crowds are usually lower during this time of year and you'll also have the opportunity to experience the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. You're going to have a brilliant time, Emily.

It's a pity you can only come for just one day. In my experience, this never feels like enough time. You'll feel like Cinderella when the clock struck midnight; you'll be having so much fun and then, all of a sudden, just like that, it'll be time to go home! But I get it. Sometimes, our busy schedules mean that we can only squeeze in a day. Any dose of magical will do!

The good thing is that one day will whet your appetite for more. Maybe next time you'll be able to take advantage of those 7-Day or even 14-Day Magic Tickets. Both of these options give you unlimited access to all four Theme Parks and the two Water Parks, plus the Park Hopper Option, Memory Maker, and more!

As you've noticed, it's not possible to purchase 1-Day tickets through the official Walt Disney Travel Company website. If you can only visit for one day, you'll need to purchase your ticket when you arrive in the States. There are a couple of ways you can do that:

    1. Since you'll be Stateside, you'll be able to access Disneyworld.Disney.go.com to purchase from any of the ticket options currently available there.

    2. You can even purchase your ticket once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort. Tickets can be purchased from the ticket booths at the Theme Park entrances or even the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs.

However, since there are currently capacity limits at the Theme Parks, I strongly recommend checking out the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar before purchasing any tickets. Guests are now required to not only purchase tickets but make theme park reservations. Unfortunately, since the summer is a very busy time, I can't guarantee that you'll be able to find availability if you purchase your tickets so close to the date you plan on visiting.

I hope that's helpful, Emily. I so appreciate you stopping by planDisney. As we say in Liverpool, I hope you have a "proper boss" holiday this September.

    See ya real soon!
