Hi Raymond!
I am so excited to hEAR you are soon embarking on a Disney Cruise Line vacation! My family recently got off the Disney Dream and we had just so much fun! Be sure you don’t miss the Broadway-style,
“Beauty and the Beast” live show; it was spectacular! And my boys cannot stop talking about the
AquaDuck, as they were finally tall enough to ride it on our most recent sailing! I think we must have ridden it no less than 15 times on our three-night sailing! Make sure you try it out!
Disney Cruise Line recommends that Guests do not make flight reservations before 11:30AM, but my family has often made it to Orlando International Airport for flights that depart prior to 11:30AM on our disembarkation day. My recommendation would be to be prepared to leave the ship as soon as they begin allowing Guests to disembark, and if you are able to, carry off your own luggage (instead of setting it out the night prior for your stateroom host or hostess to collect and then picking it up from the port terminal). Also, instead of dining in the main dining room on disembarkation morning, grab a quick bite from Cabanas buffet!
If you plan on using Disney Cruise Line’s ground transfers, you will want to make your way off the ship as soon as possible and then make your way to the motor coach. Once the motor coach is full, it will depart the port and head to the airport. If you are arranging your own private transfers, you will want to coordinate with the company to determine the best time for your driver to pick you up outside the terminal.
Wishing you a fun-filled adventure at sea! Say hi to Captain Mickey for me!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
