    Hi, We're staying at the Bay Lake Tower villas with our twin girls for their 6th birthday. Would you recommend that I request ground floor, high floor, or near skyway for our amenity choices? Also, do any "lake view" rooms have partial castle vi

    I hope you and your family are enjoying a magical Walt Disney World Vacation!!

    When staying at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, I typically request a Villa on the 5th floor due to the skyway that connects Bay Lake Tower to the Contemporary.  We typically have a double stroller with us and being on the 5th floor allows us to skip the elevator unless we are headed to the lobby at Bay Lake.  You will find that the elevators are quick and efficient so while the 5th floor is great, we are perfectly happy wherever we are.

    Bay Lake Tower is such an amazing Disney Vacation Club Resort!!  Because of the horse shoe shape, many of the Villas each have small differences in design.  It's fun to visit time after time and see the differences (for example, you might have a larger laundry room in one).  The views from Bay Lake Tower are amazing.  We stayed in a 2-Bedroom Lake View Villa last year but did have a partial view of the Magic Kingdom.
