Hiya, Lisa, and welcome back to planDisney! I’m thrilled you decided to return to our cozy corner of the internet ahead of your next cruise with this question.
As a planner myself, I completely understand that you want to begin dreaming of divine outfits to bring on your
Very Merrytime Cruise this December. I looked into my crystal ball and discovered that while there isn’t a designated Formal Night on your
4-Night itinerary on the
Disney Wish, you can pull out your sequins and sparkles for an Optional Dress Up Night on Night 2 after your day in Nassau. And make sure you head up to the pool deck after dinner for Mickey & Minnie's Holiday Party to celebrate the season in style.
While we’re looking ahead, I thought you might also like to know that
Pirate Night will be on the following evening after an epic day in
Castaway Cay. Speaking of dressing up, you’ll find some of your favorite Disney Characters in their finest pirate garb. Not only will you experience your second
Deck Party of the trip, but if the weather cooperates, you’ll also want to look to the skies after the show to see the best fireworks show at sea!
The rest of the evenings are considered “Cruise Casual” for dinner, which essentially means you can wear whatever makes you happy, from matching Avengers shirts to a satin jumpsuit. And because you’re sailing at the start of December, you would still have time to coordinate the family in outfits for an epic holiday card photo in the Grand Hall. Or you could schedule a complimentary portrait session with the
professional photographers onboard. Finally, if you need any other advice on what to bring, I suggest checking out this
packing checklist.
Lisa, I can’t wait for you to experience all the magic this season holds on a Disney Cruise. If you think of any other questions before you set sail, I hope you’ll pay us another visit here at
planDisney!
SEA ya real soon,
Sami
