Hi Marissa! When I book a “value resort” for my family I have two that are my “go to” resort hotels.
Disney’s Pop Century Resort is one of my favorite resort hotels on property. I love that this resort reminds me of my childhood. With Play-Doh and yo-yo’s showing just some of the fads from the 1950’s through the 1990’s there is fun for everyone while you reminisce. The Hippy Dippy Pool is my kids favorite place to cool off and splash around.
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is also high up on my list of places to stay. This resort hotel brings your favorite Disney Pixar movies to life. Classics such as The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, and Cars, welcome you into their storybook lands. This resort is perfect because it offers plenty of space for a larger family. The suites accommodate up to six guests and each suite offers a bedroom with a queen sized bed; a double sized convertible TableBed, a living room, one double sized sleeper sofa, a kitchenette; and my favorite TWO bathrooms!
I love that when I stay at either of these resort hotels, I do not have to share a bus with any other resort and it only takes approximately 7-15 minutes to get to the theme parks via the
complimentary resort transportation! Buses run every 15-20 minutes to and from each of the Theme Parks and Downtown Disney. I also think that both of these resorts are incredibly kid friendly but they still appeal to guests of all ages. You may find that your inner child will make an appearance!
I hope you can find the resort of your dreams while staying in budget! Have a great time making memories!
