Hi, We'll be staying at CSR. Our flight is an early one arriving 10am. Does the resort have changing areas so we can enjoy the pool till our room is ready?

Hello Thomas!  Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My wife and I recently stayed at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort when we participated in our first Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend this past January.

Like you, we arrived before Check-In time and our room was not ready.  In some instances, Guest Services will grant you access to your room early if it is available but I would not rely on that as a definite. In lieu of a refreshing dip in the Dig Site Pool, we decided to relax along the beach in one of the hammocks near the Cabanas Buildings.

Guest Services offered to see if another room was available immediately, but I was adamant about staying in a room in the Cabanas Buildings.

The Main Pool Area (known as the Dig Site Pool) has an adjacent locker room with showers for changing upon arrival.  I recommend that you Check-In with the front desk, inform them of your plans and check any extra baggage with Bell Services at the Resort Hotel.

You may also be interested in making Advanced Dining Reservations for Las Ventanas for Lunch if you are looking for a Table Service offering instead of the Siestas Cantina near the Pool Area or Pepper Market in the Main Building.

Be sure to dine at Maya Grill at least once during your stay at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort as it is a wonderful experience mixing delicious food and live entertainment.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
