Bright Suns, Jennifer!
I’m excited for your out-of-this-world adventure on the planet
Batuu. My family has enjoyed many visits to the
Black Spire Outpost, where we have found many special souvenirs to bring home to our galaxy not so far, far away, including new pets from the
Creature Stall, provisions from
Resistance Supply, and even some memorabilia from
First Order Cargo.
Also among those souvenirs at our home are two custom astromech droid units from
Droid Depot: a precious BB-series and a classic R-series. Our BB-series droid measures about 7”x7”x10”. And the R-series droid measures about 8.5”x9”x12”. Your custom units may measure slightly larger, depending on the parts selected and any accessories you may add on. At only 11 inches high, I don’t think I would recommend the small-sized
lockers for your astromech droid units. If you happen to select components with taller antennas, I would be worried about such a tight fit. But a medium-sized locker, at 12.5”x17”x18” ought to be just about the right size to store your two droids along with a few extra items.
My planDisney pal
Kristin has a terrific
locker sizing guide that may help you even more as you decide where to rent a locker. You are also welcome to use the Disneyland Resort’s complimentary
package check service. Though, if you have personal items not purchased at the theme parks that you would also like to store, the lockers are still likely the best service for your needs.
May the Force be with you as you
live your own Star Wars story, Jennifer. Be sure to check out more
planDisney Panel tips about Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge or come back to planDisney to ask any other questions you may have about visiting the Disneyland Resort.
‘Til the spire!
