Hi Alisia! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
When my family vacations I plan for two outfits per child per day (think drips from yummy ice cream, or spills from squeezing a juice box a little too tightly.) I also always bring two pairs of sneakers in case a pair gets wet or a shoe gets lost. I also always bring a pair of water shoes for playing by the pool or at the
Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station at Magic Kingdom Park. I bring a light blanket and jacket for us to use in the park for those cool morning and evenings. Some of my other important things to pack are a thermometer and Motrin. There have been many trips that my kids were teething or caught a cold with a fever by the end of our stay. We also like to take our own stroller because sometimes you just need a familiar place to sit and relax!
When I pack my diaper bag for our park days, I make sure to include a change of clothes, diapers, wipes, Wet Wipes and hand sanitizer for when you are in a pinch, a spill proof cup, and snacks.
Some other great suggestions from my fellow Disney Moms include: Gallon Size Ziploc bags (use to keep things dry or use for wet things), sunscreen, lollipops, and consider purchasing a pair of noise cancelling earmuffs (Peltor is the brand a lot of us use) to lessen the noise from loud shows and fireworks. Also don’t forget to take advantage of the
Baby Care Centers. Here you can change a diaper, use a private restroom, take a break, and even purchase some items that you may have forgotten or run out of.
Lastly the park levels should be manageable around your trip. A great place to check out projected crowd levels is touringplans.com.
I hope you have a magical vacation filled with memories to last a lifetime!
