Hi- We are going to WDW in January,we are staying at the Contemporary (Garden Wing). How big are the refrigerators in the room? Also if we need to buy milk and water, I will be bringing cereal to eat for bfast in the room, where is the best place to buy i

    Hi there Allison!

I truly believe that the Garden Wing guest rooms at Disney's Contemporary Resort are some of the best deals on property. Not only are you within walking and monorail distance to some of the most popular table-service dining locations, you're also steps away from Magic Kingdom Park. And the cost per night is a lot lower than the surrounding properties.

Based on your smart accommodation choice, it's no surprise to me that you've also figured out the huge cost savings associated with eating breakfast in your resort room. You'll find that the small refrigerators will easily hold two half gallon containers of milk or juice in the door and the three available shelves can keep several containers of yogurt and fresh fruit selections, as well as bottled water, nice and chilly.

Since the Contemporary shares many services with it's vacation villa next door neighbor Bay Lake Tower, you'll find a nicer variety of onsite grocery items for purchase than at most other deluxe resorts. However, I personally love to have food items delivered by Garden Grocer to get the most bang for my buck. Simply visit the website www.gardengrocer.com for all of the details.

Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel! Please feel free to send more questions my way prior to your trip!
