Hi, We will be going to WDW in end of Sept. 11 at the Port Orleans Riverside. Need recommendations for where to stay there. It will be 2 adults and 2 kids ( 3 and 5). Can we ask for specific places?

Hi Lila! Thanks for directing your inquiry to the Disney World Moms Panel. I'll be happy to assist you with this question. You'll find Disney's Port Orleans Riverside (POR) in the moderately priced resort category. Accommodations at this sprawling resort are inspired by rural Louisiana. Some POR rooms are housed in plantation-style mansions on Magnolia Bend while those located in Alligator Bayou feature rustically decorated Cajun-style accommodations. Here's a map of POR. Since you will be traveling with young children I would recommend requesting a river facing room on either the second or third floor of Magnolia Terrace, Building 85. This building is relatively close to the main building, Ol' Man Island swimming complex, and the East Bus Depot. Please keep in mind that room requests are not guaranteed. However, Disney will try to accommodate your preferences based on the resort's occupancy and other factors during arrival time. Let me know if I can be of any further assistance. Have a memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
