Hi! We are going to WDW in just 12 days - I hope my question gets answered on time :) So we have 2 adults and 1 child in our party. If we use the rider switch system, would the child ride twice - meaning the adults would just simply switch?

I think you'll get this answer in time for your trip--how exciting for it to be less than two weeks away!

The point of the Rider Switch pass is to allow adults to ride an attraction that a child is not qualified to ride for height or simply because they don't want to ride. Rider Switch allows the travel party to all go to the entrance to the cast member and get the Rider Switch pass and then when Rider #1 returns from the attraction, the child who has stayed with Rider #2 in the meantime is "switched" to Rider #1 to wait while Rider #2 enjoys the ride.  Rider #2 uses the Rider Switch pass to move close to the front of the line and ride without double the wait.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
