Hi, We will be in WDW from August 9-18th, 2013. We'll be staying at the Port Orleans Riverside. If we wanted to do 1/2 days at the parks, how long are the commutes to/from our hotel? Thanks

Hi Mary! I just answered this question for another guest staying at Port Orleans Riverside! You will enjoy this great resort and its location which is not far from any park on property.

During the warm summer months many guests prefer to only spend a half day in the parks and then return to their resorts for some rest and relaxation at the pool. Don't forget that once you leave a park you are welcome to return to that park at any point in the day before closing. If you have a park hopper option with your tickets you can come and go from any park on property.  The following are the approximate times for bus transportation to and from Port Orleans Riverside. Remember that buses will pick you up at the stops at the parks or resorts every 15-20 minutes. Sometimes you are lucky and a bus will arrive just as you do and then other times you just miss one and have to wait for the next cycle of 15-20 minutes. Hopefully you are luckier then I am!

To Animal Kingdom Park: 26 minutes
    To Epcot Park: 26 minutes
To Hollywood Studios Park: 14 minutes
To Magic Kingdom Park: 17 minutes
To Downtown Disney: by bus, 16 minutes....by boat, 17 minutes

    Enjoy your upcoming summer vacation!
