Hi We are visiting Orlando next month ( Oct 2024 ) and plan to visit Disney’s Boardwalk dining shops and nightlife. Are we able to visit and self park as non guests or do we need to make a prior restaurant reservation? Many thanks for any help 👍

Hey there, Nicky, and welcome to planDisney. I am excited about your trip across the pond to enjoy all the nostalgia and create new core memories at the "Place where Dreams Come True."

Most Disney Resorts Collection hotels will allow complimentary parking to go shopping in the Resort area, however, some require a dining reservation to get past the guard booth. The EPCOT Area Resort hotels, due to their popularity and proximity to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios, will likely require a dining reservation. Parking for dining Guests is complimentary for up to three hours.

Here are two options to get to Disney's BoardWalk area if you cannot get into the Resort hotel parking lot.

    1. Park at Disney Springs and bus over to the Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Just be aware of the last bus running from the hotel back to Disney Springs and when Disney Springs closes.
    2. Use Rideshare services to drop you off and pick you up. This is the best option.
Nicky, I hope this information helps you. If I were in your shoes I would make a dining reservation at Flying Fish and then enjoy drinks at AbracadaBar before seeing the dueling pianos at Jellyrolls. Please do not hesitate to write planDisney again with any follow-up questions or for more Disney vacation planning advice.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
