    hi we are visiting disney in jun 2012. There are 9 of us 4 adults 5 kids (ages 9-17). We have the standard dining plan. But seems like the girls want to try every table service there is. We will be there 6 nights. Would it be better to switch to deluxe dp

    Hi Michelle - In my experience, it makes sense to upgrade to the deluxe dining plan if you plan on eating an average of at least two table service meals per day.  In your case, will you be using 12 table service credits?  If so, it's probably worthwhile.  But, if not, you may just want to pay out of pocket for those extra meals not covered under the standard dining plan.

    When I pay out of pocket, I usually put together a list of what I expect to spend at each place, and then use the dining plan for the more expensive meals.
