Hi
MaryAnn!
Congratulations on your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
You'll absolutely love staying at
Disney's Pop Century Resort! Indeed Disney has begun installing mini-fridges in guest rooms at this resort. Installation of mini-fridges should be completed by the end of April.
Hourglass Lake View rooms are Standard View rooms. Take a look at the resort's map
here. For a Standard View Room, request an Hourglass Lake View room in Buildings 3, 4, 5, or 6. If you decide to upgrade to a Preferred View Room, I would recommend preferred rooms facing Classical Hall in either Building 4 or 5 in the 1960's complex. These have easy access to the buses but minimal noise levels. A second option would be rooms facing Classical Hall in Building 3 in the 1950s complex (3461-3472) and Building 6 in the 1970s complex (6401-6412). Generally speaking rooms in higher floors, away from the pool areas, tend to be less noisy, so I would opt for a room on the fourth level. Please keep in mind that room requests are not guaranteed. However, Cast Members will try to accommodate your preferences based on resort occupancy and other factors taking place during your arrival time. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Enjoy a most memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
