Hi, We would like to visit the different Disney hotel grounds. Is it possible to visit them without using one of our daily park tickets? Also, do we need to use a Disney park ticket to use the different transportation services (monorail, bus)? Thank you!

    Bonjour Julie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question.

I have some great news for you: you don’t need to use a Theme Park Ticket in order to explore any of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels! Some of my favourite Disney days have involved grabbing a bite to eat in a resort and just walking around to soak up the atmosphere. The only thing that you won’t be able to do would be to use the Resort’s pool as those facilities are reserved for Resort Guests.

You also don’t need to use your Theme Park Ticket to be able to enjoy Walt Disney World Resort’s wonderful Complimentary Resort Transportation, including the Resort Monorail and the bus transportation system. I highly recommend riding around on the “highway in the sky” and stopping at each Resort to grab a snack, a drink or just shop and walk around. It’s a great way to explore some of Walt Disney World Resort’s hidden gems.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. Et n’oubliez pas que vous pouvez également me poser des questions en français à la Tribune des mamans des parcs Disney!

    Have a Magical Day,
