Hi. We have two fussy eating Boys, aged 11 and 8. We will be on the Disney Dining Plan this coming October. If there is nothing suitable on the Adults Dining Plan for our 11 year old, can he eat from the Children's menu please ? Thanks

    Hi, Phil!

My kids are 12 and 9, so I can totally understand the "picky eating" situation!  Yes, your son can certainly order from the children's menu, however he will still need to use and adult dining credit for his meal.  Let the server know, and they will sometimes create an adult sized portion of the kid's meal.  You can also ask about getting things "plain" without any sauces or garnishes, and ask your server what will be the most kid friendly items on the menu.  This is Disney, they are used to catering to guests of all ages and with any dining requests!  Do not be afraid to ask, as they want everyone in your family to have a wonderful, tasty meal prepared to their liking.   Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
