Hi: We are travelling to Disney in May of 2015 with a group of 12 people (3 families) and are planning on sharing a memory maker account. Just wondering if there is only one memory maker band issued or if we can get one per family?

Hello Tania! Your Walt Disney World vacation is just right around the corner! I think it is a great idea to share Memory Maker. I have shared Memory Maker with others and it has always worked like a charm.

Here is what you need to do so that everyone in your party has access to Memory Maker:

*Link the Memory Maker purchase to your My Disney Experience account.
*Link all of your family members to your account so that they can also use Memory Maker. You can do this by adding them to your Family & Friends list. If they are already linked with your reservation and your account then they will have access to Memory Maker.

Memory Maker does not come programmed on a Magic Band. It all has to do with your My Disney Experience account and who you have linked to it.

Some important things to know about Memory Maker:

*Only one person in your group will be able to download all of your party's vacation pictures. Whoever the Memory Maker is assigned to will have downloading privileges. The person with the downloading privileges can then send the digital copies to the rest of the party.

*Save money and pre-purchase Memory Maker. I suggest purchasing Memory Maker at least a week in advance of your vacation.

*Once you download the first photo you have 30 days to take as many photos as you want. The photos will remain in your account for 45 days.

And remember, once you start taking photos, If you are taking a group picture with all 12 of you, only one person has to touch their Magic Band to the PhotoPass photographer's scanner. If all 12 in your group touches their Magic Band, there will be 12 of the same photo in your account. If your group splits up, you will need one person from each group to touch their Magic Band.

I hope this helps, and if you need anything else, please let us know. Have a magical vacation!
