Hi We are travelling from Australia with a family of 6 and are looking to save a little money in Orlando. If we buy a 5 day one park per day pass do we also need to buy extra tickets for the waterparks? Thanks Amanda

Hi, Amanda! Thank you for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel again, dear friend!

My husband and I also did a lot of hard math when we lived in Brazil. Coming from other countries to the Walt Disney World Resort is an incredible adventure that requires a great deal of planning, and we're here to help you bring magic to the planning itself!

The 1 Park Per Day Tickets are indeed the most economical choice, so you're in the right track if you intend to enjoy five days at the four Theme Parks (Magic Kingdom ParkEpcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park). That is indeed a great option, as Magic Kingdom Parks has so much to offer that I always like to spend two days there. If that's your idea, your best strategy is to buy a separate Water Park admission ticket and use it as your sixth ticket.

If you intend to spend four days at the Theme Parks and enjoy the fifth day at one of the Water Parks, then you should buy 4-Day 1 Park Per Day Ticket and a separate Water Park ticket. The great news about either plan is that this separate Water Park ticket will be cheaper than a fifth or sixth 1 Park Per Day Ticket, so there are savings on the horizon!

I hope these options help you decide on the best ticket for your crew, Amanda! If you need more help before your fantastic trip is here, please, don't hesitate to come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
