Hi, We will be traveling to Disney in April. While looking for extra park hours, I found a special event listed for several nights while we are there. Can you tell me what the event is?

    Hi there, Jennifer!

I'm not sure what your dates are in April, but I do know that two nights during the month, the Magic Kingdom theme park is hosting Disney After Hours. Oh boy!

This specially ticketed event is a bonus 3 hours at the Magic Kingdom after the park has closed. You'll have access to over 25 attractions and character meet and greets with really almost no wait - especially when compared to lines during the day. Also included in your ticket price for this event, you'll also have unlimited ice cream novelties - including the coveted Mickey ice cream bars, popcorn, and select bottled beverages.

You can get so much done over the course of those three hours than a lot of people accomplish in a full day at the theme park, and I know at least one of my kids can eat her weight in Disney popcorn - it's her favorite snack. That alone is almost worth the price of admission!

If you have the time and the chance to participate, this is a great event and an awesome way to get repeat rides on favorites like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Space Mountain. That almost never happens during the day.

    Have a wonderful visit, Jennifer!
