Hi We are thinking of upgrading our current 14 day UK ticket to an annual pass. However, we already have park reservations made including some days which are now sold out. If we switch to the annual pass, will we lose these reservations?

Hello again Melanie Jayne, and welcome back to planDisney!

It's so great to M-I-see-K-E-Y you here once again!

Oh boy!  I note that you've indicated you'll be visiting the magic and enchantment of Walt Disney World Resort as early as next month!  Of course, I can just imagine how super excited you must be feeling now that your jolly Disney holiday is right around the river bend in only a few weeks time at the end of December.  The Holiday season at the most magical place on earth is simply glorious, and I feel sure that your whole trip will be practically perfect in every way for your dEAR family.

Melanie Jayne, I'm happy to share that in past yEARs I've chosen to upgrade my own 14-day Ultimate Ticket (now currently known as the Disney Magic Ticket), to an Annual Pass for use at Walt Disney World Resort.  I'd always dreamed of being part of the Annual Passholder Program, so it made me incredibly happy when it finally made financial sense to pay to upgrade my tickets to an Annual Pass!

To make this magical upgrade, and become part of the Annual Passholder Program you will need to stop by a Guest Relations location, or drop into the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs where a helpful Cast Member can make the upgrade, advise of up-to-date pricing, and indeed ensure any reservations that you've made via your My Disney Experience account are not lost in the process.

My. top planDisney tip would be to ensure that you make any upgrades to your tickets, prior to using them to enter a Disney Theme Park.

I hope that I've been able to provide you with a little pixie-dusted reassurance and insight today!  If you did have any further last-minute questions about your upcoming holiday to Walt Disney World Resort, then please don't hesitate to drop back to planDisney to ask me anything else.  I'm always more than happy to help a fellow British Guest!

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
