Hi We are taking a Disney Cruise for the first time..Oct. 29th to the Western Caribbean..What should we take with us off the ship when we do the excursions? Towels? extra set of clothes? not sure if I need to bring a beach bag etc?

    Hello Karrie,

I love helping out a fellow Buckeye. So it was especially difficult for me when I saw your question and I knew I would not be much assistance since I have never cruised! I'm a stay-on-land type of gal.

But fortunately, we here on the Moms Panel have a fabulous Disney Cruise Line (DCL) specialist. So I asked Andi for her help. She says it all depends on your Port Adventure (PA). There will be instructions in your stateroom on what you will need. Some PA's will provide towels, while others you will need to bring them. For most places in the Caribbean, she says you can bring a change of clothes, but you will feel comfortable in a swimsuit and coverup. Andi also says she likes to bring a small bag with her for her family's passports, Key to the World cards, currency, camera and sunscreen.

I hope that helps! And if you have other questions, check out the Port Adventures at DisneyCruise.com or find me or Andi. Happy cruising!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
