Hi, We are taking our daughter to WDW for her 7th birthday next spring. We will also be toting an infant along with us. Looking for moderate hotel recommendation with good transportation options to MK and other parks. Prefer a hotel with room service.

I think your daughter will have a birthday filled with so many unforgettable memories!  The Moderate Resorts at Walt Disney World are a great option for families as they each offer something unique with their theming and still all of the Disney magic.

Since this is a celebration for your daughter, if she likes princesses, she may find the Royal Guest Rooms at Disney's Port Orlean Resort - Riverside enchanting. The rooms have little touches from princesses who visited the room previously. Since this resort is centrally located, it is about 20 minutes away from each park. There is pizza delivery available for in-room dining. Similarly, Disney's Coronado Springs is also centrally located with travel time to the parks around 20 minutes. In-room dining is available for breakfast and dinner.

If you'd like to be close to the Magic Kingdom, The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are nearby with the park just a lovely boat ride away (about 17 minutes). The cabins are also nice as you'll have a separated bedroom from the living space along with a full kitchen. In-room dining is not available here, however.

If in-room dining is a high priority, you may find that combined with a Special Offer, that a standard view room at a Deluxe Resort could be worth looking at. Disney's Wilderness Lodge (a scenic boat ride to the Magic Kingom) and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge (located just minutes from Disney's Animal Kingdom) offer some of the lower priced standard view rooms.

If we can help with further questions, please let us know. Wishing you a magical trip!  -Kara
