Hi, We are staying at a WDW resort for 3 nights, checking out for a 5 day DCL cruise, then returning to another WDW resort for 3 nights after. If we purchase a resort refillable mug, will we have to pay to reactivate it at the return resort?

    Welcome to planDisney, Sheila!

Oh, what a wonderful Disney-themed trip you have in store for yourselves. So exciting!

Sheila, you'll be pleased to know that when you purchase your Resort-Refillable Drink Mug--just like the one that's included in Disney Dining Plans--that mug will be activated for 14 days. That means that you can start off your Walt Disney World days with a nice hot beverage from  your resort, refresh with a cool fountain beverage after a day of park-hopping, and even bring a little something back to your room throughout the day or night before shoving off on your cruise.

Once you return from that outstanding 5 day experience with Disney Cruise Line, your resort mug will be active for several more days. Because the mugs are refillable during that window at any Disney Resort Hotel Quick-Service location as well as those resorts' self-service beverage islands, you'll be able to fill up post-cruise. Win-win-win!

Sheila, have so much fun packing the pixie dust into your plans for both Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line. As you think of additional questions, be sure to send them our way. We love to help!
