Hi, We are staying at the Polynesian, arriving on March 14th. Our flight arrives at 12:15, we plan to eat lunch at the airport and then take the Magic Express to WDW. What are the odds that our room won't be ready when we get there? Thanks so much! Li

    Hi Lisa!

You are going to have such an amazing time as you enjoy the tropical beauty of Disney's Polynesian Resort on your upcoming stay. It's my favourite place to indulge at Walt Disney World.

"Official" check-in time at the Polynesian is 3:00pm, so there is indeed a possibility that your room may not yet be available for you if you arrive prior to that time. However, that won't stop you from being to jump straight in to all of the magic at Walt Disney World.

I always recommend that you travel wearing comfortable clothes suitable for heading straight into the parks, or that you pack something lighter to change into within your carry-on bags. That way, if you arrive prior to your room being ready, you can still check-in at the resort and receive your Key to the World cards, able to head into the parks right away.

You can also opt to be reached on your cell phone as soon as your room has been assigned and is ready for you. While you wait, if you don't wish to venture into the parks, you can relax by the pool or beach, stroll the Polynesian gardens or sip a Kappuccino from the Kona Island Coffee Bar while you browse the shops and enjoy the lush lobby surroundings.

Once your room is assigned and ready, your luggage will be delivered there by Bell Services and your room key will be programmed to enter the room. If you've opted to be contacted by cell phone, a Cast Member will contact you with your building location and room number.

Wishing you a Magical time on your Walt Disney World vacation Lisa!
