Hi, We are staying one night in a Disney resort, May 13-14. We purchased tickets for 2 days with hopper. We would like to enter park at 8:00 am on 13th.Can we park in our hotel lot? How do we get our tickets into the park? Do we need magic bands?

Hey there! Hi there, Kathy! It won't be long before you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy. I love it when my countdown is single digits. And it sounds like you've mastered planning to squeeze the most magic into your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Let's get you ready to go, go, go!

Your Disney Resorts Collection stay includes complimentary parking at the hotel and the four theme parks. At the hotel security gate, just let the Cast Member know that you're checking in that day and be ready to show a picture ID. You can check your luggage at Bell Services and hop on Disney Resort Transportation to whisk you off the theme park. Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park opens at 7:30 a.m. for early theme park entry for resort Guests, and Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios welcome resort Guests at 8:30 a.m. on May 13. Transportation should be in full swing to get you to your destination.

With direct-to-room service, you can check into your resort on the My Disney Experience app and get updates when your room is ready. At the end of your day, you can pick up your bags and head straight to your room, or you can call Bell Services from your room to request your bags. They will bring them to you for a small fee.

You have a few options to access your tickets. My favorite is a MagicBand+. When I snap this on my wrist, my brain locks into Disney Mode, and I am transported. You can also use Disney MagicMobile, which puts a card in your phone's digital wallet you can scan to access your theme park tickets at the gates. If you prefer a physical card, you can visit Guest Relations, located at the front of the theme parks, to pick one up. The lines tend to be the longest in the early morning hours, so I would definitely look into Disney MagicMobile for the speediest start to your day.

Kathy, I hope this information is helpful as you put the finishing touches on your vacation planning. If you have any other questions, please come see us again at planDisney.
