Hi, We will be staying at Disney's Riviera Resort in November. We plan to take advantage of the after hours at Epcot and wondered if the skyliner would run after those hours end, or will the skyliner close after regular park hours? Thank you!

Hey there Jeanne and welcome to planDisney!

You've made an excellent choice in Disney's Riviera Resort. It's one of my favorite destinations at the Walt Disney World Resort. You'll definitely want to grab a coffee from Le Petit Cafe and enjoy the scenic views for a touch of luxury on your vacation. On my most recent visit, with my family staying there while I was calling Disney's Beach Club Resort home, it's no surprise that I spent my fair share of time on the Disney Skyliner going back and forth. I'm happy to share with you what I know.

The Disney Skyliner, like other forms of Disney Transportation, generally starts running an hour prior to park opening and up to an hour after park closing. On days when EPCOT is participating in Extended Evening Theme Park Hours for Guests at Disney Deluxe Resorts, this rule applies to the Disney Skyliner as well. You shouldn't have any problem sailing the starry skies back to your resort in the hour after some late-night frolicking in the park.

Jeanne, have a fantastic time during your vacation this November. If you happen to see me there, don't be afraid to say hello. And if you have any other questions, just ask me. I'm always glad to help!

    Happy planning!
