Hi, We are staying at Coronado Springs in about 2 weeks. If we check in online prior to arrival, can we still ask for a complimentary room upgrade the day we arrive to the resort? Thank You!

    Hi Melissa,

You'll be at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in two weeks?  That's exciting!  Autumn is a lovely time to visit Walt Disney World.  Are you ready to check out the culinary wonders of the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival?

If you plan to request a complimentary room upgrade at check-in time, I suggest you don't complete the check-in process online.  If you do online check-in, your Key to the World cards (room keys) will already be printed and waiting for you upon your arrival.  It has been my experience that you are more likely to receive a room upgrade if your Key to the World cards are not already printed.  However, please keep in mind that it is fairly rare to get a free room upgrade.  It's best not to get your heart set on receiving one.  If it happens, that's awesome, but don't count on it.  Therefore, if a speedy check-in experience is very important to you, go with online check-in.  Otherwise, take your time and do the traditional check-in process.  And don't forget to ask for that complimentary room upgrade.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you are assigned the room of your dreams at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort!

    Best wishes,
    Jill
