Hi, We are staying at Coronado Springs Resort. I would like to eat at Animal Kingdom lodge, the food court. Since I have a quick service dining plan and would like to check out Animal Kingdom Lodge. Is it possible to park and do I have to pay a fee?

    Hi Tracey,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question.

My family and I absolutely love Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge for its atmosphere, animals and… its food!! I think you’ll really love its quick service restaurant, The Mara.  Make sure you try the zebra domes!

If I understand your question correctly, you’ll have your own car during your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. If that’s the case, please mention this when you check in to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. You’ll then get a Resort Parking Permit that will allow you not only to park for free at your home resort, but also at any other Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and at all four Theme Parks and both Water Parks. Just tell the security guard at the main entrance to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge that you want to dine at The Mara, they’ll scan your MagicBand and you should be good to go.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
