Hi, We are staying at the Animal Kingdom resort with 4 day hopper tickets from the 27th of Sept 2015. I've have a 5 yr old and we are not quite sure what to do first, Fastpass+ and how much time to allocate to each theme park. Any suggestions?

    Hello Katarzyna!

It sounds like you have a great start to your vacation. Staying on property and using Park Hopper Tickets will allow you to enjoy as much of the magic as possible.

I would recommend at least one full day at the Magic Kingdom, as this is where you’ll find the most attractions that appeal to kids of all ages. It’s the classic theme park that most imagine in their minds when they think of Walt Disney World. I would also plan a full day at Epcot, and possibly Disney’s Hollywood Studios. For a fourth day, I would plan spending the morning and early afternoon  at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, followed by an evening at Magic Kingdom. Consider using Disney’s Extra Magic Hours to give yourself the greatest flexibility in your park touring.

Walt Disney world can be large and a lot for a little person, and big people too! I recommend arriving at your selected theme park at least 15 minutes before opening, and take advantage of the lower crowds in the morning. Then return to your resort in the afternoon for a swim and a break, and then either return to the same park, or an alternate park around dinner time to take in a few more attractions and enjoy the evening entertainment.

Good choices for FastPass+ at the Magic Kingdom might be Peter Pan’s Flight, Pirates of the Caribbean, and if your child is taller than 38 inches, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is a fun family coaster. At Epcot, I recommend Turtle Talk with Crush and if your child is greater than 40 inches, Soarin'. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios Toy Story Midway Mania is a great pick, then whichever two other attractions you think your family will enjoy. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, you might enjoy Kilimanjaro Safaris and again, if tall enough, Kali River Rapids.

I hope that at least gives you a starting point to begin making your plans! Wishing you a magical and memorable Walt Disney World vacation!
