Ahoy, Sheila! Welcome aboard planDisney and thank you for sailing our way with your question.
Your cruise vacation on the
Disney Dream is about to begin as you set sail in just a few short days. The countdown is almost over! I can't wait for you to be welcomed aboard by Mickey and the gang as your Disney Cruise begins. The magic awaiting onboard is for everyone in your travel party and it's just about time to experience it all!
While Disney Cruise Line is not announcing the current capacity onboard, I would prepare your parents for a full cruise ship. I recently set sail and while I know the ship wasn't completely full, there were several times that I encountered large groups of fellow cruisers. The broadway-style shows in the Walt Disney Theatre were performed to a full house, the atrium filled before dinner time and when Disney Characters were nearby, and the dining venues were bustling.
If your parents are looking for some quiet moments away from crowds, they may enjoy relaxing on the Promenade Deck (Deck 4). This area provides beautiful ocean views and comfortable lounge chairs. If your parents would like to dine privately, they can utilize the 24-hour
room service available onboard. You can view the room service menu in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you are on the ship.
I hope that your upcoming voyage will provide plenty of memorable moments for your family. Thank you again for visiting planDisney and please, visit us again in the future if we can be of any assistance!
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
