Hi, We are on a Sept Halloween cruise out of Miami. My husband and his brother signed up for a late drink tasting event (1015 PM) on Night 2 of the cruise, but I'm curious if it will interfere with the Pirate Night festivities on the same night?

Ahoy, there matey! Thanks for dropping by planDisney with your question, Candee.

How exciting that you'll be sailing into fall aboard the Disney Magic! My family and I have a September cruise planned as well and I'm already counting down the days.

Now, Candee, one of my favorite things about Disney Cruise Line is that there is so much to see and do on the ship! My husband and I booked both a Champagne Tasting and Mixology Class on our upcoming sailing out of New York, so I appreciate this question!

Candee, often Pirate Night including the party up on deck will start around 9:30 or 9:45 PM (and you're correct that historically this is on the 2nd night of a 3-night voyage). You'll want to check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App when you embark on your cruise for the exact time the party will begin. Weather pending, the celebration will conclude with fireworks. Since I don't have an exact time fireworks are scheduled, my best recommendation would be to visit the Guest Services Desk on deck 3 when you board the ship to chat with a Cast Member about timing. I'll be crossing my fingers that your husband and brother-in-law are able to experience both Pirates IN the Caribbean and their late-night drink tasting.

If you have any additional questions, please come on back to planDisney.

    Cheers to a Magical adventure!
